Killerspiele Has been Out for a while now

It looks like Doom isn't the only game that invokes the killing instinct in people! Jam it back in, in the dark.

Of course the media got it all mixed up.
The two kids had seen the movie Final Fantasy VII Advent Children, so most newspapers are accusing the movies "Final Fantasy", "Final Fantasy VII" or just "Fantasy" as reason for the amok run. Of course, the media also misinterpreted what the kids have called themselves. In an interview with the hostage, she said the two kids "talked about Final Fantasy (Advent Children)" Nope, they didn't really call themselves Sephiroth and Reno - still respect to the Bild Zeitung for figuring out who the bad guys are. There's a really worth-reading article at BildBlog, a blog dedicated to uncovering all of the daily mistakes made by Germany's worst newspaper. Still, the uproar is not as big as most people might expect. Bild debunked the article by explicitly stating that World of Warcraft (as opposed to FF) is not a killergame. That's because it has elfs, dwarves and trolls in it. Right. There's nowhere I can't reach. ![]() |
Here it is: http://www.bildblog.de/?p=2016
And they made fun of the fact that the Bild Zeitung sells the Final Fantasy games in question in their online shop. The "newspaper" is an icon of hypocrisy - on the frontpage they are all about traditional values and such, and some pages later you see phone sex ads. By the way, is killerspiel already a part of the english language? ![]() I alway voted for the use of übertomorrow instead of the day after tomorrow. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
Everything´s getting better.
Nothing´s getting good.
