DLink Router and FTP
Hi. I know I have already PM'ed a few with already-running successful FTPs, but here seems like a good place for professional advice.
I'm using Bulletproof FTP server and I have it all working. I can access it from the computer it is on (i use a dyndns.info address). However the dyndns address seems to go to my router and not my FTP server like it should. I have port forwarded 21 and 6001-6009 for passive and i have checked that they are open, as indeed they are. So it seems that the router needs instructing to send anyone accessing that dyndns address to my ip address of the computer on the network (192.168.1.50). I have tried using the DMZ feature, putting in my coputer's LAN ip address (192.168.1.50) but this didnt seem to do anything. Any ideas? My router is a DLink DSL G604T (and there seems to be not very many people with this so advice has been hard to come by!) When it's up, i have loads of piano videos for the concert hall to allow access to. Thanks, Tom Jam it back in, in the dark. |
UPDATE
With the modem, it works perfectly, but my router seems to stop everything working... Do none of you have this router or know about it? Thanks, Tom There's nowhere I can't reach. |
