Post your studies

This one has not yet been done, has it?

Ok, this one is about your studies. It doesn't only have to be schoolwork. It can also be cram school or self-study. Please remember to mark your school grade (if there is one) and subject in the photo. Include a brief description of your lessons if it's in a language other than English.

Textbook, handout, or notes, please share them with us.(Hopefully with some of your handwritings for us to see ) I'm really curious about what other people's lessons are like, especially those in different languages.

I'll start with some of mine:

This is my physics cram school textbook, for 11th graders. We're currently on collisions.
My cram school teacher teaches quite well so I like the subject.

This one is my school Traditional Chinese textbook, for 11th graders also. This one is an easy lesson so not many notes were taken. It's an ancient letter written hundreds of years ago from a famous literacy master to his friend.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Damn, this is interesting! All I have at home right now is a book in Physics, but I'm finished with that course (will soon hand it back to the teacher). Tomorrow I could take home a couple of books and show you guys

Come on! I know a lot of us have scanners and some embarrasing school work! Here's my linguistics quiz...5/6

Oh gosh...amplified, my writing looks even worse than usual. I do that scribble out thing too much, and everyone thinks my writing is actually too small.
You're not mooching my student number :P

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

heh, I don't have any of that stuff readilly accessable anymore. But my studies were mostly towards Computer Science and accounting (schoolage), and Mythology (independant).

Lots of things I've "discovered" in regards to mythology pisses people off. But it's always interesting.

I'm a sophmore in an American college with physics as my major. The pictures came out a little blurrier than expected, but for the most part, I think everybody can read what's in the books and in my notes if the picture is viewed in full resolution.

My electronics book. This is open to a section that we did on AC circuits earlier in the semester.

Electronics notes. (I am a HORRIBLE notetaker.) This is from yesterday, and if you know what you're looking at, you know that we're just now getting into digital circuitry.

Differential equations book, open to a section we did on heating and cooling problems earlier in the semester.

A sheet that the differential equations professor handed out to everybody. She's been giving us papers like this all year, so most of the time I don't even bother to take notes. Obviously, we're doing free mechanical vibrations right now.

Thermodynamics book. We've just started statistical mechanics using the Boltzmann constant.

Thermodynamics notes from earlier in the semester when we were doing different types of compressions (along with temperature, etc.) with ideal gases.

Sociology book. Meh, it's a gen ed I'm taking to lighten my load a little bit. Right now, we're on gender issues, which is why I opened it to that section.

I was speaking idiomatically.

thirdjean - What exactly is the math stuff? It looked vaguely like trig, but not really. It's kinda hard since I can't read japanese.

I would post up pictures of my stupid notes but I don't have a camera... Besides I'm so sure that everyone would have so much fun with the series....

Okay, technically that physics is elementary. Looks like elementary kinematics. But with all those... Chinese characters, English and Greek letters combined to form a super language, I'm scared to even look at it.

It's actually Traditional Chinese.

I suppose that has something to do with my handwriting. Many people have said that my writing looks as if done by an elementary child.

How ya doing, buddy?

Right now, because I'm working on my navigation flight test, my studies revolve around the Beechcraft BE36 Bonanza.

Nono lol, your writing is actually amazingly neat. I'd love to have your writing, compared to my chicken-scratch which I can't even read myself.

I just had an exam yesterday for my Genetics course. This is a sample of the notes I took for it.

And then a page from from my notes for Hydrogeology.

And a page from Astronomy, which I have a tendency to fall asleep in and it shows. This is more incoherent than the others, and I have an exam for it tomorrow!

My handwriting is probably only legible to me. It's complete chickenscratch compared to others.

EDIT: Oh, yeah. Third year university student here. That's "junior" for those who like colloquialisms.

I was speaking idiomatically.

It'd be cool if I can write in Cyrillic.

My handwriting takes the worst of both script and cursive writing and turns it into an abomination in penmanship.

I'm a freshman at the University of Iowa...though I'll probably be transferring out before too much longer for various reasons.

first off, friends don't let friends live in Mayflower dorm. second, the University of Northern Iowa has a better teaching program. third, the entire campus revolves around bars and football...though that's a pretty common thread among public universities, isn't it? ;_;

Just a random page from my International Economics notes. It has a pretty terrible reputation for being a nasty hard class, but I haven't found it to be too bad so far even with my absolutely miserable study habits.

My handwriting hasn't improved much since first grade elementary school, by the way. o_o

Jam it back in, in the dark.

A quick picture from my Accounting textbook.

It typically takes me around 10 minutes to fully read through a page, take notes on it, and grasp the concepts in and of themselves. I usually read it through once, go back and take notes on it, and make sure I understand why something is done the way it is.
Depending on the chapter, it can be very time consuming.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

My biology course. As much as I find biology itself interesting, this course has killed it. I've got enough of ecological niches for me to last a lifetime.

I just wanted to learn about human anatomy and go into med school, not this bullcrap.

Since I don't have this thing called "real life", I decided to scan all my school books. I guess you won't be able to read the German text, so I'll give you the topic for each subject. For those who are interested: I'm a 10th grader.

Religion - Sexuality in Relationships

Social Studies - In which way can violent media affect children?

Geography - National Parks in the US

History - War - World War - Total War

Chemistry - Alcohol/Oxidation/Whatever

Physics - Magnetic Fields

Biology - Genetics

Mathematics - Trigonometrical Functions

English - Poetry

German - Grammar & Styles

Latin - Caesaris e commentariis de bello Gallico

Phew. 5AM.

The picture at the top on the right is an American placard from 1942, which shows a caricature of a German officer with a monocle. I'm not so sure about the other picture, but I guess it's about the fact, that German Jews gave financial aid to Great Britain and Russia, which were both enemies of Germany in the Second World War. The writing says "Jews Conspiration against Europe!"
