Music of the PixelJunk series

The original soundtrack album to PixelJunk Eden was released earlier this week by Aniplex. To mark the occasion there are currently two new interviews online with musicians that have contributed to the series of downloadable titles by Q-Games.

In the first of these articles, Otograph gives some background on their museum installations and the process behind Dive into PixelJunk Monsters, the first game soundtrack available for purchase on the Playstation Network. In the second, Baiyon talks on the subject of the art and music of PixelJunk Eden.

Both interviews were conducted at the Q-Games office in Kyoto for the gaming website Siliconera. Japanese-language versions will be online soon as well.

Another interview with Baiyon was posted today to Playstation.Blog by Q-Games president Dylan Cuthbert. This article includes the participation of Edden director Shouichi Tomi Tominaga. They have announced that the PixelJunk Eden Soundtrack will be available on the PS Store this Thursday, Oct. 2 for $2.99.

A video interview with Takashi Iura and Sachiyo Oshima of Otograph has just been made available via the Nobuooo website. PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe is headed to the PSP later this year with new stages and music by the composers.
