GFF (Mega)Scrabble Game 5 Signups
Game 5 starts Wednesday, March 25
It's been over a year since the last Scrabble game, and like Risk, the time for revival is upon us. This will play almost the same as previous versions, except this time, we'll go in turn order (no more advantage to being the first to post your words, or waiting until someone opens up a 9x score opportunity). No rushing to take your turn, though if you're going to be missing for a day or two, please let us know. If we get enough players (8 or more) we'll play with the big board, otherwise, I'll create a normal board to use. If you can play Scrabble, you can play MegaScrabble. Take a look at the previous games we've played in Mom's Basement to see how it works, or take a look at the Wiki for the rules. Here's what the game board looks like. Since the board is on Google Documents, I'll need your Gmail address to grant you rights to edit the chart. Even if you've played before, I need your addresses again, because 1) it's been a year and 2) I'm doing games from my normal Gmail account now to make things simpler. Players 1. nuttyturnip 2. Wow. That's a huge board. Will the 14 tile rule still be in effect or is this going to be closer to real Scrabble like we did with Risk?
Regardless, i'm in. Antidisestablishmentarianism. There's nowhere I can't reach.

As long as we get enough players, it'll be like previous MegaScrabble games (14 tiles, 2 words per person). Other than that, regular Scrabble rules apply, though it's possible to get a 9x word score by using 2 3x spots on the board. Oh, and I need your gmail address so I can give you permission to access the board.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |

Oh yeah, this. I kept meaning to drop in and sign up, so here I goooooooooooo! I can't wait to spend 2 hours deciding over what move nets me the most points.
