This is a test sub for Chuuka Ichiban / Cooking Master Boy Episode 1. I am soliciting feedback and assistance for a project on this anime.

I have used the AVIs released by sunteng on the Internet, along with moderately-edited scripts from the cable broadcast by the AXN Asia channel, five years ago. The main difference between this and the project by Anime-Keep is that (1) AXN translated from original Japanese, while A-Keep used Cantonese and Mandarin sources.

Opening karaoke translations are based on lyrics posted at Animelyrics.com, edited to extreme verbose levels so you can actually sing along with the English lyrics. It was a five-minute hack job, so rest assured I intend to polish the translation a bit more for the final product.

This test release utilizes re-encoded hardsubs for Opening Karaoke as well as translations of various Chinese characters encountered in the episode. In addition to the edited AXN subtitles, I have kept the Chinese subtitles and Mandarin audio in the sunteng release.
