Cable Cover / Organizer / Concealer
Does anyone have any homemade or a recommendation of a product I can buy so I can cover my 1000 cables behind my TV?
Thanks. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
I didn't buy this exact brand, but I'm quite happy with the results of using this type of cable organizer.
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Awesome. I'll check it out. Where did you buy yours?

Local computer store. There was a demonstration and I thought having that 'zipping' ability is rather cool. So I went and bought one. Happy camper ever since.
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
What does this do that zip ties can't?
I was speaking idiomatically. |
You get one gigantic cable, instead of a bunch of cables held by a tiny tie
How ya doing, buddy? |
The only problem with the tubing is it doesn't work out too well if you have a bunch of different length cables. If that's the case then zip ties seem to be the only real option.

I'm not sure if this would work for you, but I use "double sided velcro" cable bundlers. The stuff is kind of addictive.
you can cut it to any length and tie together any amount of cables. You would need to do it a few times at different lengths though. I even use them for my headphones, and of course, my computer cables. They are easy to remove and adjust too. unfortunately I don't see them on newegg anymore, but they were called 'generic cable bundlers" Most amazing jew boots |
That's not a bad idea actually. They make velcro tape rolls and you can pick them up from any home improvement store like Lowes. You can get a 15 foot roll for around 5 bucks. Jam it back in, in the dark. ![]() |
