The only PC music game I ever really play now is O2Jam. It's pretty fun, and there's a shitload of songs to play with. There's a lot of variety, and it's easy to learn and difficult to master. Good stuff.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Pump it Up Perfect Collection
Pump it Up PREX3
DJ Max (PC Version)
and soon In the Groove for PC.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Stepmania + In The Groove Sims + In The Groove Theme = In The Groove for PC.

That's what I have set up, so I can play it through my TV with video out anyways.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Currently Playing:Persona 3, .hack//G.U. vol 3, Wild ARMs 3, and Phantasy Star Universe (360).

I haven't been able to find any ITG simfiles. Interested in sharing the source? =P

BemaniaDX is a really good beatmania sim. However, the program and download site are completely in Japanese. It's not hard to set it up, though.

There is a keyboardmania simulator, but the quality is no good since it's actually all midi stuff, although you could practice the key sequences if you wanted. I think it was by Patrick Yaupy or something.

I also think DTXMania was floating around somewhere.

No. It's and actual game coming out.... I would give you the link but its in beta testing and i'll respect their request not to send the link out. Chances are its very similar to that though.

well technically ITG is just stepmania... but if they've added rolls to stuff and updated the game engine maybe not anymore... haha

DJMAX is awesome. Possibly better then Beatmania itself.

I made a journal entry over it here where you can see what the gist of the game is. 5 key mode is extremely popular, so it's not like you're going to have much trouble picking it up.

Remember to start on easy songs until you're level 12 or so. You'll lose MAX points if you fail songs.

I can confirm that DTX Mania is lots of fun, now that I have it on the pc...but you'd have to find the simfiles from torrents somewhere. Fortunately, they are almost exact replicas of the arcade sequences of both Guitarfreaks and Drummania. Good luck with doing rolls on a keyboard, throughout whole songs.
