Loungehop

I've been recording my own music now for about 5 years, and I've been playing guitar for around 13 years. I play acoustic guitar and a banjo. I PLAY those instruments, but I like to listen to all sorts of genre's, including the likes of R&B and Rap, and Jazz. One day my friend Joe decided he wanted to rap to an acoustic song, and I was playing rhythm and started funktifying my acoustic rhythm to match his "flow". Well sooner or later I was throwing rather "urban" percussion into an acoustic sounding jazz. Then I turned my acoustic guitar playing for synthetic lounge sounds.

I dub this strange hip hop jazz fusion "Loungehop"

check it out (first two songs are this style, the others are just simple covers and one is my attempt at reggae, oh and theres a Koop song on there because its badass and not enough people know about Koop.)
