FF 7 to run smoothly on epsxe

I am trying to play ff 7 but it keeps freezing during the cut scenes

my video card is ATI RADEON HD 2600 XT processor 2.6 ghz I use pete DX6 d3d driver 1.75 for the video plugin.

How ya doing, buddy?

Try the non-DX6 D3D driver, maybe? I think that one runs on DX7. The other suggestion I can make is maybe try updating to the 1.76 version?

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Thanks I switched to 1.76 and it runs smoothly
