Flash problem in Firefox
I'm not sure when this started happening, but I think it was roughly a month or so ago. But basically, I can't watch any Flash videos for more than 2 seconds, and none of them have sound. For something like YouTube, it'll load the rest of the movie and bar will be red and everything, but it always stops after it's played for 2 seconds, no matter where I skip in the movie. And this only happens in Firefox...they play fine in IE. I've tried re-installing the plug-in but it didn't seem to have any effect.
Suggestions? Also I'm going to take this opportunity to use this awesome icon. ![]() ![]() Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Try this can be help you:
Uninstalling Flash: View Document then install adobe flash: http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get...ash_player.exe There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Uninstall Flash. Uninstall Firefox. Then reinstall the latest versions of both.
If symptoms persist, try a system restore to a date when flash didn't break on firefox. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
I thought I had tried that, but I did it again in that order and it looks like it cleared the problem up. Thanks much.
