Mass File Rename
Hey guys I've recently decided to redo my mp3 collection. It's very VERY messy.
I've gotten to where all my songs are sorted by artist (finally) and now I want to redo the id tags for most of them. I know how to do this, I'll probably use iTunes. My question is, after I rename the tags, the actual filenames will still be very nasty and disorderly (with numbers, messed up caps, etc). Does anyone know A program or method of making the songs automatically rename to the "title" on the id tag? If anyone can help me...well it would save me a lot of time. And I will be forever grateful. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Tag & Rename can take information from id3 tags as well as filenames and the name of the folder that the file's in.
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
antp.be > Software > Ant Renamer
This thing is the greatest ever for bulk renaming of files. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. ![]() |
You guys are the best, it worked exactly as intended.
(I went with Ant Renamer. Amazing Program) I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
