DVD movies audio skipping
Alright so my computer isnt all that great but I should think it can play a DVD movie without a problem. My comp is an E machines, with XP, about a few years old.
Whenever I play a DVD movie, the audio skips and almost sounds like an echo of each sound that comes out. I tried WMP, MPC, and VLC. I even tried closing all programs before watching and still does this. Any suggestions? Jam it back in, in the dark. |
are sure your dvd driver have good reading data from cd or dvd disk?maybe your lens die.
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
It plays cd's and everything fine. for the record, MPC the audio messes up. For VLC, its just the video.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
Does it do the same if you have the DVD as an image mounted on Alcohol 120%/Daemon Tools?
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
Yes, just tried it.
I was speaking idiomatically. |

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
Then the problem's not with your hardware (DVD drive) - it's your software.
Do the following: 1. Defragment 2. Update drivers 3. Update DirectX 4. Show us your event logs (Application and System) 5. Post screenshot of STARTUP tab in MSCONFIG.exe FELIPE NO |
