Several causes for eye twitching.

Alright...so my left eyelid has been twitching for the last, oh...twenty hours or so. It started up at 4 pm central time yesterday, and has been constantly twitching ever since. I can only assume that it either stopped, or I coudln't feel it, when I was asleep.

So, in order to put an end to this madness, I've come to you all, who are full of wisdom () to help me figure out why this eye will not stop twitching, and perhaps help me put an end to my suffering.

And no, I will not be fucking poking my eye out...or slitting my wrists asking how this could happen to me.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Aside from seeing a doctor, this is all I have to add.

Hello, Darling.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

John Mayer just asked me, personally, through an assistant, to sing backup on his new CD.

Eh, I have a nervous twitch myself in my left eye, and it's been going on and off for about... 3-4 years.

It's no big deal, seriously. I just pointed it out to my friends who for some inexplicable reason thought that it was the most hilarious thing ever.

If your eye is still functionally intact and your vision is fine, then I don't think its anything to worry about. My eye spazzes out too sometimes but its always temporary.

They say that if your eye twitches, someone's talking about you.

I heard that if your ears are ringing, someone is talking about you. On a more serious note, I have this same problem and have seen a doctor about it, and so has my grandfather. However, we have not encountered a doctor who knew the exact cause or cure... so I guess we just have to live with it... it feels kind of cool anyway.

It bothers the hell out of me personally. I get them every now and then, but when I do...it lasts for the whole day. If I keep my eye closed though, it isn't as severe.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?
