MP3 to MIDI???
Is there any way to convert MP3 to Midi???
I've never heard of one, but I was just wondering. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
I try many of them but none of them are good to convert from mp3 to midi
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Yeah, there's a way to do it. Unfortunately, it involves having a good ear and manually clicking in hundreds of notes.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
If you've ever opened a file in Audacity, that's what an mp3 looks like. MIDI is a fancy way of storing sheet music. That's also why it doesn't sound as good. Rather than playing back the actual performance of a piece, it plays back the sheet music on various software-encoded instruments, which are hardwired onto your sound card, or using a sound font. If you need something specific, you can probably visit the sheet music request threads in The Musician's Library. If someone posts it, you can encode it using Finale Notepad (what I use), or another MIDI program. Of course, depending on the size of the piece, it can take a while. Finale Notepad can be found here: NotePad You have to register your e-mail address, but it free, and I don't get any spam from them. It's a bit hard to work with, but, then again, most MIDI programs are. Hope all of this helps! I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
