.mp3 file
I'm starting to sort all my mp3's, primarily for speeding up navigation. I have dbpoweramp installed to take care of tag editing and some other things, but here's my problem. When I go to sort by albums, track numbers, or artists, nothing comes up in windows explorer. The files all have id tags, but nothing is registering in explorer, making it impossible to use the sorting feature.
Does anyone know why this might be happening, or how I can fix it? ![]() Thanks. Jam it back in, in the dark. |

Maybe windows ID3 support is limited? Keep in mind there are ID3v1 and ID3v2. Additionaly ID3v2 can even further divided into ID3v2.2 and ID3v2.4 (and the other ones).
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Well I know it worked on my old compie, I remember it would state the album and artist in gray underneath the tile.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |

Find out what version of ID3v2 your tool writes to the files. Then convert it (using something like eyeD3) and test again with the explorer.
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?
