How much is GameTap these days? / ZSNES online question
For those who don't know, GameTap now has a free section with about 30 to 40 games that rotate and are ad supported. For those with moral issues concerning roms (not me), this is a great way to play some Street Fighter II, bust-a-move, Ghosts N'Goblins, or Tomb Raider III and not feel bad about it. It's also a great way to play some easy to set up online games.
The only thing that's a pain is to unlock all 900+ games, and get rid of the ads, you have to pay. That understandable, and not the problem. The problem is that I can't find the info on how much it costs anywhere on the site or program. They say "unlock it all for 99 cents" which I assume only lasts a day or two at most, and then you have to pay the actual monthly fee. Anyone happen to know what that monthly fee is these days?
My second question I want to ask is how many of you have played ZSNES (or other emulators) online? I've been trying to play ZSNES online for a while now, and I'm never able to get it to work. I've tried with a couple different friends, different port settings, playing without my router, and nothing works. Anyone know what I might be doing wrong?
