Akiko Shikata
Anyone loves Akiko Shikata?
Just recently I begin to listen her albums again, and I'm impressed by the score she made for Ar tonelico and hanakisou, especially the song Utau Oka. Aside from that, she also has released two jpop albums which are Navigatoria and Raka. Her high-pitched voice sounds wonderful and powerful. I think she is one of rare composer who also sings rather than composing (Yoko Kanno is suspiciously sings as well, though she always deny it) It seems she's not really popular though, her information on internet is just so little, and there hasn't been any entry about her in wikipedia. Anyway guys, this thread is made to discuss Akiko Shikata. What do you say about her? Do you enjoy her works as well? ![]() Most amazing jew boots

I think there might be an entry for her on JP Wikipedia and she also has a Last Fm page.
I absolutely love this woman - the Ar tonelico Hoshiyomi concert CD has some of the most amazing vocals ever. When I heard those tracks I went through a creative fury!! I hope she's on the new upcoming cds for Ar tonelico 2. Her tracks on Shadow Hearts III are also amazing How ya doing, buddy? |
