Mp3 bitrate converter program which keeps the tag information
I'm looking for a program where I can change the bitrate of mp3s to 128kbps and at the same time keep the tags which has information about the song(s).
I've tried "Pak Audio Converter". I like that program since you could convert several files at the same time, the only thing that was bad was that I lost all the ID3 tag information. Jam it back in, in the dark.

Change them to 128 from?
If it's lower, don't bother, they won't sound better. If they're higher, do you REALLY have to? Converting from one lossy format to another introduces tons of artifacts and won't save you that much space. Otherwise, use foobar2000. You just set it up with what encoder you want to convert to (set it for 128kbps MP3), and it'll automatically convert from any format and keep all tags. Most amazing jew boots |
