DVD Music Ripping

I'm trying to rip music off of some DVDs (namely the Sonic the Hedgehog SatAM Complete Series DVDs) but the furthest I was able to get was a sound rip that included the sounds and voices, making it more like just listening to the show and not actually watching it. Is there some software (preferably free) out there that'd enable me to filter out the sound and voices, leaving the music?

Blue_Kirby2 mentioned to me that the way some others have done this with other DVDs is by ripping only certain channels when the player is set to 5.1 surround audio. Would I have to find a DVD player for my comp that'd allow me to play with that kind of sound setup, and if so, how would I go about it? Or is there some other way I'd have to try?

Forgive me for the incessant questions; I'm a bit new to this stuff but willing to try it out. It'd be fantastic if I could manage to pull this off.

Programs You need:

SmartRipper - (FREE)
HeadAC3he - (FREE)
Libmmd DLL (Extract into Headac3he folder) - (FREE)
Azid DLL (Extract into Headac3he folder) - (FREE)

Tutorial:

Step 1:

- Make sure you have downloaded all the neccessary programs listed above.
- Load your DVD into your computer's DVD Tray.
- Open SmartRipper 2.41.

- You will see the above screen. Select The movie or Clip you would like to extract the audio From.
- The Videos are catagorized in a "Program Chain" manner, Every "Program Chain" has an "Angle". "Angle 1" is the default angle, for audio it is not important.
- Find the Trailer or Footage you need based on the time of the clip which is displayed in Smart Ripper.
- If it is a certain chapter in a movie, you may select it using the "Chapters" toolbox.
- Once you haved selected your clip press "Stream Proccessing" on the top of the program window(Under Source INPUT/Stream Proccessing).

- Once you click that, you will come to the above page.
- Remember that your clip MUST have a 5.1 audio Channel, it will not work on 2.1CH clips.
- Select your audio track and click "Demux to extra file" on the right hand side.
- Now you may Begin your Extraction by pressing "START". You can specify where you extract the files under the "TARGET" section.

Step 2:

- Open HeadAC3he and use the "Source" button to select your extracted audio file.
- Press "Options" and Select the "Center" track ONLY for "Input".
- Center channel is the Voice channel, Left and right are music channels.
- For output you may select "Right" and "Left" and select "Surround".

- You can adjust settings and encoding options in this program as well, but I won't go in detail for that part.
- Press "START" and you are done! enjoy your audio file!

There's nowhere I can't reach.

One question. With this DVD, when I bring it up in Stream Processing the only English audio that appears is listed as '2Ch'. I assume that means it's only 2-channel audio. Since there's no other audio streams listed, does that mean I'm out of luck?

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
