You are in trouble for browsing GFF

It's probably safe to assume that your workplace or school wouldn't appreciate you browsing a place like GFF. Have you ever gotten into trouble due to this? Boss or teacher happens to look over at your monitor and gets an eyeful of furry porn? Mom looks over your shoulder and sees you posting in the (former) naked members thread?

Bonus points if you got fired, grounded or jailed.

I got an official written warning at my last job after my manager noticed me looking at GFF when I was supposed to be working and recorded all the internet activity from my computer for a week.

When I became a mod, I IP checked myself and found out she'd also created an account here although never posted. I was tempted to ban it but since I don't work there any more there's no point really, is there?

Xiao wins this for getting grounded/banned from the internet all because of GFF.

Hm, personally, I am rather careful when I was working in terms of looking up GFF. :3 I usually disable images in certain areas, like the journals, just in case Seris post on of her usual stuff again, but I still want to check her post. I rather appreciate the fact that for the most part GFF is relatively work safe. I am a lurker for the most part anyway.

Hmm... I'd say pming my husband specific details of sexual pleasure definitely could get him in trouble if his supervisor saw the PM itself. xD

But damn it that's pretty much how we communicate while he works 10 hour shifts at work. Better than TEXT MSG!

I once got suspension for browsing here back in high school. I was looking at some thread in the Sewers with a picture of a bare breast, with the areola filled with random bugs in assorted holes. One of the assistant principals walked by the PPC room where I was, saw the picture, and gave me a referral. Damn him!

About a couple weeks ago I was browsing SB/GFF like I always do in school (nobody seems to care whether or not I'm surfing the web as long as I get my homework done). I was looking at the "lesbians are fat" thread in the Sewers on SB and one of the teacher assistants was watching what I was doing and she gave me a small lecture on how not to browse sites with swearing in them (ironically enough the post I had just read through was one of Sass').

I usually browse the site at home, but whenever my parents barge in on me they always get the impression I'm downloading something. They hate whenever I download stuff because it usually messes up our computer... I've probably messed it up downloading something about 3 times already.

So whenever they see me on here, they usually freak out on me and I always have to reassure them I'm not downloading anything to fuck up the computer.

Nope. Never got in trouble or caught =o I never browsed at work, since the workplace never had a computer set up (except for maybe half of a week at one point, but it was a shitty computer with a neutered internet access).

At home, the folks walk by this computer all the time. I'm just very cautious if I'm looking at risque stuff... I'll be back in my own place within a week and a half, so I doubt that I'll get caught with any upsetting stories :3

This thread is all about PROOOOOOOOOOOMOTIONS! =D

My high school had internet filtering on par with China, so it was safe to say that until the second half my senior year, I wasn't browsing here. Then I found out that, for whatever reason, they stopped requiring you to have the server that handled the filtering put in as a proxy server, so suddenly, unfiltered internet access.

So I browsed here on my free time, and nobody gave a shit.

But now I'm in college and nobody gives a fuck about what you do with the internet at all.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I go on GFF at work, and I never go to any places where I could potentally get into trouble, and tend to stick to the same threads (Pokémon -_-;)

At home, I just do whatever I want.

Well I'm a highschool student and .org isn't blocked. So I'm always on GFF in the last period of the day. I've never been caught and never will, mainly because my computer teacher doesn't care.

Yah, I used to browse at school all the time. Wierdly enough, this site wasn't blocked. Even if I was seen browsing it, I never got in trouble. I was one of those people who could get away with anything because I never got into any other kind of trouble.

I never got caught on here back when I was in college. I was very careful as to when I was on. I always made sure that I had the window minimised, and a word document on my screen before the tutor came to see me. I was always in the corner, so I was able to see the tutors heading my way, giving me more time to switch between the site and some work.

At work though, I can't access the site, damn filters are set up to stop everything.

It why I'd never be able to browse Gamingforce at school. They put up filters for game websites, and GFF lands in that category...

Although one week at school, I did get lucky when all the filters got knocked off.

woot, never been in trouble for being here either at school or now at work. Back in high school I'd just use the computer in the library that was for checking out books (mostly because it had the librarian logged in to it). For my first three years in high school they had windows 98 on all the computers, so I could log in with out logging in as myself (login window? esc lol). We thought it was funny to go to porn sites and print 50 pages of nasty before leaving... Also for what ever reason their internet filter only worked when you opened internet explorer and could be circumvented by opening the recycling bin and typing in a URL there. I don't think they ever figured it out because the IT department had one staff and the rest were students who were cheating the system worse that I was.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

I browsed gff back in highschool, some five years ago. I very vividly remember PMing Colonel Skills, my first gff-bro lul, days later all access to gff was blocked with this pretty red webpage redirect saying that this site was unauthorized. they blocked it because of me, how sweet.

I've never gotten in trouble for browsing stuff I wasn't supposed to. It's fucked up, but one time I was caught looking at porn and my mother walked in. She said "It's ok, don't be shy."

I aws using my mother's computer up until something like 2004. Or was it 2003? Either way this computer of mine now is a few years old. Browsing on her $3000, 400 MHz, Pentium 2, 64MB RAM computer on 56k (up until DSL was available in NZ, which was like, 2002) computer since 1999 wasn't all that fun. In fact, it only had 8 GB.

She'd still delete unnecessary files manually from it though. Each day she'd search for what's been seen and delete it. Before she discovered the "drag to select multiple items" thing, she did it ONE BY ONE. Right clicking and deleting every single file individually which wasn't supposed to be there.

Cookies, gone. Websites, gone. Everything would be gone unless I made a folder for it, or something. Nothing was private. Eevntually I became sick of it and when I finally had enough money, I bought my own computer.

Shortly after I got a job at an internet cafe.

God people look at some sick shit in public places. Furry, bdsm, guro, child porn, the lot. Everything is recorded from all 32 computers we had there, minus the work computer I had and 2 others for staff members. A whole bunch of people got in trouble and were permanently forced to keep away from the building for their browsing. Memberships (we had yearly memberships, so the more you were there the cheaper the hour it'd be) were disabled too. I mean after all we didn't want to be liable for some kid walking past someone browsing on a public computer and seeing goatse.

I stopped reading there because I was worried how that conversation was going to continue.

I've never actually gotten in trouble, though the professor I work for has walked in a few times while I had a #gfchat window open and pup was talking about "fucking niggers" or gay porn or something like that.

I've never had a job I could take Gamingforce to. My mother never cared. I guess you can count Lenore flipping out whenever she saw this damned blue board on my screen as getting in trouble in the past? Not that she wasn't justified.

While I could browse at work, I won't because I actually got fired from my last job for browsing MySpace.

I thought I was doing a good job of concealing it until the Human Resources lady pulled me into her office.

At the place I'm working at now, there's no way I would be able to get away with it, because the way the desks are set up the supervisor is literally looking over my shoulder.

I got into trouble quite a few times while browsing GFF while in class, namely because my teacher discovered the remote screen shot taking capabilities Mac admins have over normal users. Even still, after about the 10th time or so of being caught my teacher even put an IP ban on GFF so I couldn't browse anymore, there is only so many times one can come in during lunch break and do clean-up work.

Thankfully after a while I found both a proxy to get around th IP ban and found out the admin password and proceeded to swiftly disable his remote screen shot ability.

I'd get started about my run-ins with my parents and GFF but I don't know where to start...

I've had a couple of verbal warnings for being on here at college before, and then the college blocked the site. Presumably because it had the word 'gaming' in it.

Then the site crashed, and re-appeared as gamingforce.org, and I haven't had any trouble logging in since.

Jam it back in, in the dark.
