Anyone used Amazon.jp to order OSTs?

Has anyone here (mainly from Europe or America) used amazon.jp to order OSTs? I just want your views on using it. Basically I have been looking for a soundtrack and one of the places where I get them from (which is also in Japan does not have it in stock) but amazon.jp has it Link. I have used amazon.de, amazon.com and amazon.co.uk, and they have worked very well for me. Please give me your views on it anyway as I want to know how you have got on with the site. Thanks for your time.

Magusstorm.

I've ordered from Amazon Japan once and the service seemed okay but the site is hard to navigate through if you don't know Japanese. Like some of the site is partially in English and the rest Japanese. Anyway, it took around three to four weeks to receive the item, since I didn't buy it from a merchant.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I heard godai and bishop were preordering from there and they always got their copies before me

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Would love to use the site myself, but not with the english portion being just a bone they decide to through our way. Once they fix that to make it easier to use I'll buy CDs through them, in the meantime I'll stick with CDJapan, Play-Asia and YesAsia...

Yeah, other than some of the exclusives that VGMWorld has, I almost soley order all my CDs from Amazon JP now. Before that, I was using CDJapan, but Godai (who knows Japanese) helped me through the registration and ordering process. I can't thank him enough for that because after using Amazon JP for over a year now, I can safely say that I like it more than CDJapan. The prices are pretty much the same for both but where AmazonJP wins is in the shipping speed.

With CDJapan, I usually received my album 3, 4 days after the initial release. However with Amazon JP, 9 times out of 10, my items are delviered ON the day of release. I <3 DHL!

I have never used PlayAsia or YesAsia, so I cannot speak on either of those at this times, although I have heard good htings about them.

I was speaking idiomatically.

from YesAsia, it takes 2-3 weeks for my items to be delivered. So I try as much as possible to order somewhere else, which happens to be cdjapan.co.jp most of the time. VGMWorld for exclusive products. Never ordered from play-asia. Prices are already in US money, the currency exchange seems wrong though.....

I think amazon.jp shipping costs are higher than cdjapan. If I wanted an OST to get shipped quickly, I had to pay around 3.000 Yens and for only one item!

How ya doing, buddy?

heh either you did something wrong, or maybe it's because you live in France, I dunno. But I've never had a problem with the shipping price. I just ordered the Garou Densetsu 15th Anniversary BOX from Amazon JP which costs 14,800 yen. I selected "International Express" shipping (which is the fastest shipping speed they have) and the price for shipping was only 2,000 yen. So yeah, I dunno man, but maybe you did something wrong. :P My shipping prices have never been that high... especially with only just one item.

Yep It seems because I live in France. Just did a simulation and It's still 3.000 yens.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Heh. I mostly do my shopping at YesAsia, gaming OST and others, just for the free shipping! XD

I do shop at CDJapan only if I can't find it on YesAsia (or they're out of stock).

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Not to go off topic, but is that a good choice to spend money on if one hasn't heard any of the music?

Anyway, VGMWorld is another site I use. Stick mainly with CDJapan, unless they don't have the item I am after though.

Considering the price, I don't think it would be a good idea to spend money on it if you haven't at least heard some samples. This is SNK we're talking about here, and they very rarely compose bad music but still, this is a very expensive experimental purchase. So, unless you're loaded or have an excess amount of money to spend, I wouldn't recommend it. ...But, since this is you, I might would go ahead and suggest getting it... 'cause I think you're loaded. :P If you're thinking about picking this up, maybe I could send you some samples from games that will be included in thsi set. Just in case you haven't seen it yet, here is the entry for the album on GMR: http://www.gmronline.com/info.asp?Ca...=SCDC-00553~59

Sorry to bump an old thread
I have recently started to order off amazon.co.jp
However, is there a way to order from independent sellers as amazon do not stock three cds that I am after.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?
