disabling stupid interactive menu on dvd?
when i put this dvd (grudge 2) in my computer, one of those interactive menus with special features and stuff launch right away. is there any way of disabling this? i use MPC to watch dvds on my computer and i have anydvd installed. anydvd will disable the intro thing but since it never plays, the movie won't play either (the movie won't play unless the intro launches first)...hope this makes some kinda sense.
Jam it back in, in the dark.

Use VLC for DVD playback and select the main movie through the navigation menu.

the navigation menu isn't available before i choose open disc. and that's when MPC or VLC will lock up...any other ideas? maybe i'll just have to disable anydvd to watch movies.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

What version of VLC are you using? Why is VLC locking up - check the debug messages!

Sounds like some weird copy protection and autoplay crap. Try holding Shift while inserting the DVD and see if you can still play the movie normally.
