DAMN, that video makes me want it now, although I think it could use a tad more enemies to shoot at. The online thing should be crazy fun. I think it's an awesome idea to being the game back to its roots. The very first game on the SNES was the best game in the series, and if DS is anything like that, then I'm in Seventh Heaven. Here's hoping for some remixes of classic SF themes, and none of that SF64 crap.

I still think Fox looks horrid in SF DS though :/ I want those animatronics back!

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

I'll definitely be getting this game when it comes out. It looks too freaking sweet to pass up, especially with all the multiplayer it will have.

I was speaking idiomatically.

YES. YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES MOTHER FUCKING YES.

Star Fox 64 was my FIRST CONSOLE VIDEO GAME EVER. Star Fox on the original, is, despite its primitive graphics, one of the most aesthetically pleasing games released on the SNES in my opinion. I play Star Fox regularly, and I have the beta rom of Star Fox 2.

I am SO FUCKING PSYCHED.

The Nintendo DS just went from "I think I should get this," to "HOLY FUCKING CRAP I MUST HAVE IT <3 <3 <3"

That looks awesome. Those Barrel Rolls look nice. From the screenshots it looks like they may've removed a few planets, but who cares. This game looks awesome. Where are you Star Wolf Team?

Wow, it actually looks really good (maybe except for the shooting animations). Its shaping up to be another hit DS title. We're finally starting to see these handheld games that take advantage of the DS's touch screen for shooters.

I would've loved to hear some voice-over audio. Too premature?

EDIT: Another thing, what's with the whole Time Limit? I understand if it's in a situation like Katina on Starfox 64, but it looks like the Time Limit is consistent with every level.

From seeing the video, I don't see any on-rails action. I honestly hope the game isn't only all-range, seeing as I never cared for those stages in the original much.

If it is, I will be disappointed.

That just further proves the lack of rail levels if true . I hope they're nowhere near the finished product.

I hope so too. It wouldn't be Starfox if there weren't a few corridor-type levels.

This had better be one kickass game. It has to make up for Adventures and Armada.

Wow, it looks very classic. Seems they will recycle quite a bit of the old N64 material, not that I mind
Online multiplayer for teh win! Some of the multiplayer modes look quite vague though but time will tell. Is it playable on E3?

Hey, this came out of no where!
Much of the graphics appear unfinished, at least the game is returning to original style *sort of.* Well this is another DS game to tack onto my wish list.

How ya doing, buddy?

You mean Adventures and Assault.

Anyway, as long as the game goes back to SF and SF64 style, I wouldn't care whether it's on-rails or all-range. I just want my old Star Fox back :(

The DS went from a 'there's not many games that interest me on this system' to 'all the awesome games are coming to this system!' This has never happened to me before.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Dingleberries! This is some hot shit. Old StarFox action+WiFi=Nintendo's dominion over handhelds is absolute (sorry, Sony).

Armada wouldn't be a bad name for this version... But then again, Nintendo just HAS to come up with a name that has gives the acronym for DS... Just like Deadly Silence, Dual Strike, Dust Strikers... Anything else?

I'll probably watch that movie when I have some time... At the moment, I don't! It will probably be as orgasmic as everyone is saying. I have my hopes.

Character models

SWEET FIND. I was afraid that after seeing Fox, the other character models would suck too. However, Falco and Slippy both look very good from the screenshot, especially after the horror that is SF Assault. :D Now I am really hoping to see a younger Peppy this time around, but I really doubt that will ever happen :(

I don't care for Krystal so I don't care what the heck she looks like.

The DS really shined at E3 this year, this new Star Fox being one reason why. I've been waiting for another real Star Fox for so long. Thank you Nintendo. Now just make another Punch-Out and I'll be happy.

The DS output this E3 will cost me more money than the Wii and all the games I'll be getting at launch.

Hotel Dusk
Starfox DS
Yoshi Island 2
Mario vs DK 2
NSMB
Phantom Hourglass
Contact

and maybe

Chibi Robo DS
Elite Beat Agents

I feel as if there's something I've forgotten, even.

It doesn't seem to be alike Starfox 64. Even though they are the same genre.
