Give me my fucking audio, MPC
So I'm using Media Player Classic to play console games on my computer when I'm away from home and my friend's using his TV for his console, and it seems to work rather well.
Except I can't fucking hear anything.
I've been poking around the audio settings and I can't seem to figure out how to force MPC to output audio along with the game video. NeroVision does it just fine, but there seems to be some lag with it when I play. Maybe half a second or so from button presses to the time the video responds on screen. MPC does not seem to have this lag, so I'd rather use it.
I'm running my PS2 through a Canopus ADVC110 into my laptop's 4-pin 1394 port. I know audio works fine over the box, as I've captured with it to my Mac before and it's worked fine, and as I mentioned before, NeroVision outputs audio fine. NV is just lagtacular. Onboard audio is a Realtek AC97. Shitty, but it does work.
So, any MPC masters here who can point me in the right direction?
Jam it back in, in the dark.
