Target's weekly ad just made me wet myself.

Any game $30 and above for $24? I'm spent. I'm probably gonna pick up Spectrobes or Custom Robo Arena... I have to get a new game sooner or later.

I would've slapped this in General, but this was more Nintendo aimed.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

You bet. :|

I need to get a new DS though... I would've gotten on this week if I had enough money, but I don't. T_T

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Yeah, awesome sale, but it sucks they don't stock Puzzle Quest, which is the one DS game I want to buy right now (had to get it at EB). If I had more money, I'd pick up Custom Robo Arena, but come to think of it, I didn't see that at Target today either.

If you get Spectrobes, tell me how it is. I was thinking of getting it, but I am getting mixed vibes now that it's out.

I am digging the bling skins, although I don't have a DS Lite.

My sister just showed me this before I saw this thread. This is pretty awesome, so I'll pick up a few games. From the ones shown I'll probably get Wario and Spectrobes, but since there's over 30 in total, there will probably be at least a couple more that I wind up getting.

How ya doing, buddy?

Hmm... maybe I should've waited a little longer on the purchase of Yoshi's Island 2, New Super Mario Bros, and Diddy Kong Racing DS. Oh well, I might get Elite Beat Agents and Spectrobes now that they're on sale. I haven't really had the urge to buy the games, but they look interesting enough.

Incidentally, I've been hearing mixed reviews, mostly negative, on the new Wario game. I'd like to see for myself, but the one consistency I've noticed from the reviews is that the game is unnecessarily repetitive. I don't want to shell out more money for a game that might hold my attention for only a couple of hours.

I don't remember specifically saying that (if that was the case, I wouldn't be getting the new Pokemon game or Digimon World DS 2 whenever that comes out), though I think I do remember saying something that I wouldn't be getting Spectrobes anytime soon. But the truth is, I have been somewhat interested in the game, I just knew I wouldn't have the time to play it anytime soon. But with a sale like this, I figure I might as well get it now so at least I'll have it.

Actually, you said neither of those. I couldn't find the post/entrywhere you said what I said you said, but anyway, you said that, excluding things like Pokémon and Digimon, you had no need for 'another monster-raising' game and therefore wouldn't be buying Spectrobes :3

Unfortunately, just like with Digimon World DS, Spectrobes doesn't have online battles. Booo! Oh well, at least there's still Diamond and Pearl.

P.S. I get no Targets here :(

Sale starts tomorrow? Holy crap. I definitely will have to go.

If this includes FF3, which it seems it would, that's like a 40% savings.

Stupid Target has to not be in Winnipeg. The best we get are those random 6 dollar sales of over stocked second rate games that didn't turn out to be as big as they figured it would be, at Best Buy. Oh well, used places still get most of my business anyways.

I found the exact comment here, and all I said was that we don't need another monster-raising game, not that I wouldn't be gettng it (my official status on it then was 'meh').

But back on target (lol, crappy pun), I'm really trying to figure out what these '30 great titles' can be. I know that Targets in my city don't even have 30 DS games on the shelf at once, let alone 30 great DS games. It seems most likely that every DS game they have that's not already $20 or less will be going for this price. I'll just have wait until tomorrow to see.

Well, one, it doesn't say "great" anywhere in the ad and, two, uh, marketing?

"Hay, come buy some crappy games!" That'll get 'em in the doors.

But it does say 'build your game collection from over 30 great titles!'

But yeah, it's pretty much a given that most of the games will be crappy (more of them will probably lean towards the Hannah Montana and Pet Vet side then the NSMB and Yoshi's Island side), but I'm still curious as to which games it will include. If worst comes to worst, I'll at least be leaving with the two games I mentioned earlier.

It says every single game over $29.99. *shrug*

I might have to pick up Custom Robo Arena this week now. I'd been thinking about it already, but this sale makes it difficult to resist. Spectrobes still looks interesting, but I'd rather hear firsthand from someone else if it's any good before buying it.

Just got back from Target (two different ones, actually), and just as I expected, the selection wasn't that good. Well, not for me anyway, as most of the games either sucked (all the Disney show-based games) or were games that I already owned.

I did manage to get Spectrobes and Wario though, and the only game I got that wasn't in the ad was Super Mario 64 DS. They had Super Princess Peach on sale, but neither store had any copies, so I may go to another Target later to try and get that. And while they had Custom Robo Arena there, it wasn't one of the games on sale (it didn't have any price tag on it, so I asked the guy to scan it and it came up for $30).

And for anyone wondering, FFIII DS is one of the games on sale as well.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Ooh, I wish my Target had Super Mario 64. I almost got Super Princess Peach but decided not to, maybe later in the week.

I got FFIII and Phoenix Wright 2. Phoenix Wright 2 didn't have a $24 tag on it either, but it scanned at that price.

I dropped by mine also, but I still need to check if Custom Robo Arena at mine would scan up. :| It might just end up the same, but it's worth a shot. They had one copy at my Target, but I was reluctant to get it... Instead I ended up buying a used copy of Golden Sun at Gamestop for $3 <_<

But i'm still trying to decide whether or not to get Spectrobes or something else. I'm really interested in Custom Robo Arena though... Tell me how Spectrobes is, Rock.

I would have asked to speak to a manager about that. The ad clearly states "ALL DS games $29.99 or above". Someone just forgot to put it in the computer.

I honestly didn't even think about that (I had a hard enough time finding someone to come and get the games from behind the case). If they have it at the other Target I'm going to tomorrow, I'll get it from there, and if not, I'll just have to go back to that other one and ask for the manager.

I just dropped by again with nothing. :|

I need to get that circular though. So I could just wave it in their face and prove to them it's only $24 for Custom Robo Arena... I'm REALLY, REALLY tempted to get Spectrobes, but I can't deal with the ratings it's been getting. T_T
