Post Do my homework!

Haw! You thought this would be one of those illegal homework helping threads didn't you! >=D

No, what I want to know is did you ever do homework for anyone else, get someone else to do your homework, or copy someone else's homework? >=)

I've only copied other people's homework. But I did it in private. Got to school early, went into the returned homework tray and copied the homework from someone else. Then I'd turn my homework in late. I told the girl who I was copying off of each time a semester later and she thought it was funny. Ah math class. =)

So how about you? =D

I never really did the copying homework/letting other copy homework thing. I guess I was just a really moral kid when I was younger. I never really liked working with other people on homework, either, because I figured I was smarter than them anyway. Yeah, moral but uppity.

In high school, where nothing matters, people took my chemistry, math, and comp sci stuff. I never did copy stuff from other people because I grew up in some bumpkin town with some real fucking retards in it. There used to be days in the library where people would meet with me to get the answers while I was reading some book or some fucking shit.

In Uni, I only do work WITH other people, not necessarily copying it. Just working together on things won't get you kicked out of the class with an F like copying does.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

well I did copy from some friend but they were little homework that didn't really count much but the teacher was checking if we did it and I didn't so I copied my friend copy really fast before class XD did this a couple of time...

I think I remember doing only one homework for someone else and it was before this christmas. It was a English text my friend needed to complete, well more translate from french to english and I did it. The only thing she didn't said first was that it was her final writing exam that she's not suppose to do at home nor even do a "rough" copy at home first...so eh at least she past english test, but I wasn't very happy that it was an important exam before asking my help...

Normally, I'm not one to cheat on schoolwork, but there was one project in my high school geometry class that I really had no choice on. The teacher made us use this computer program that turned geometrical shapes into rudimentary animations, and we were supposed to design our own short demonstration. We got little classtime to work on this, and since this was the dark ages before everyone owned a computer, I didn't have a home PC. I didn't have my driver's license yet, and I didn't have a ride home from school in the afternoon if I had to stay late at school.

The teacher had no sympathy for all of this. My friend and I worked on our projects together on his computer, but at the time I knew next to nothing about computers, and he was pretty good. He was nice enough to make a second animation (similar to his) that I could call my own. It was obvious the teacher suspected I had cheated, but he didn't call me on it. That's the only time I can recall completely using someone else's work.

It's my senior year in high school. Senioritis is definitely kicking in. I always copy my friend homework in Physics class. Most of the work I would actually do myself, but when I'm running out of time before class starts, I would have to resort to taking their answers since my teacher gives us homework grades based on how much we have rather than the quality of our work. Weird, but whatever... As long as I have something down, that's all he cares about.

But I've always been notorious for copying off of people. It's not like I don't have the intelligence to do the work, I'm just too lazy to do it.

I never did anyone's homework, but I had mine copied all the time, especially in my math classes. Of course, when everyone can see that you're obviously helping the teacher with some of the work, they're going to come to you when it comes to copying someone's work.

I have copied other people's work a few times, but nowhere near as many times as I have had mine copied. I'm not trying to justify it or anything, but it really was a rare occurance compared to when I had mine copied. Honestly though, I've probably taken more zeroes than I have turned in copied work, as I've never been comfortable with copying (or being copied, but I didn't want to be on people's bad side).

I managed to persuade my sister to some of my homework once. I also copied off someone for my programming course, and they copied something off me that they couldn't do. Other than that I have been quite good at doing my own homework.

I'm not usually one to go copying other people's work, but there was a stupid class I had to take in College about Canadian movies or whatever, and all we did was watch boring Canadian movies (except for the cartoons from the NFB) and answer questions about them. Everytime we had a test, the prof would leave the room until the test was over, so we'd all just pulled out our notes when he was gone and help each other.

Fun times, wot!

Just about everyone in my high-school class, including myself copied our math homework off each other. The teacher was a little suspicious when we had all the same right and wrong answers.

I've always had a 'show me yours and I'll show you mine' relationship with my friends... and our homework. We always knew that if one of us needed help and needed to copy some homework, the favor would be returned at some point. So we always did that.

There was even one class where the teacher asked us individually if we did our homework, to which we'd reply 'yes', then he'd go over the answers, so even if we didnt do it, we'd say yes and just write it in as we went.

Yeah... I was a good student when I tried...

I never copied someone else's work and infrequently checked final answers with other people, but one of my friends would always leech off me indirectly in economics. We usually got mini-assignments, and in both high-school and uni she would want to "check" her answers with mine. She never copied them directly, but always spent a long while looking at them and we joked about her habit of doing that. I didn't mind though, it's not like I understood economics extraordinariliy well anyways >=).

I could always do the work around as fast as it would take to copy. I never noticed anyone copying off of me, but I do remember my biology teacher started to make me take exams in the back of the class away from everyone else, because there was a significant change in the average grade of those sitting near me. <.<;

I've only copied homework once or twice when I was in high school. I remember that I didn't know we had to do the assignment, so I copied the work a few minutes before it was due from a close friend of mine who I knew did well in the class also. I think it was during my chemistry and trigonometry classes.

I don't usually let others copy my work these days. My friends don't take the same classes I do anyway, and I also never feel comfortable letting others take my work in general.

In computing class at college I would often let the two people who regularly sat next to me copy my programming stuff if just because it exasperated me to watch them attempt to do it on their own.

And the other day I did a piece of maths coursework for a friend. ^_^

I never did in high school, but in college, as engineering courses got more and more ridiculous, we (the engineering students) would try to get the work done on our own. But once the deadline became "hella close" we'd finally resort to consulting each other, usually just blatantly copying the work and then actually understanding it later. At least the effort was there in the first place right?

Algebra III/Trigonometry (it was one course at my high school) is the only class I can recall outright copying work in. My mind hits a roadblock in algebra courses, so it was almost necessary in some lessons to get most of my homework accomplished on time. That particular teacher would assign work on the next chapter and only teach how to do this stuff after it was due, so it was much simpler for me to look at the homework after it was returned and figure out how to do it myself for the tests.

As for helping others cheat, I never did that. I sometimes gave an answer or two, but let people just outright copy.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I have copied homework in the past, and that was when I really needed it badly. I have done other peoples homework such as essays and small assignments as well. I don't know why people come to me to help them, maybe its because they say I look smart?

Whatever the reason, some people really take me up on it, and I can sometimes spend 10 hours a week helping other people out. That was most apparent my first year of University. I must have edited about 20 essays that weren't mine....

I did that a lot for my high school Geometry class. The teacher wasn't very good IMO. there were five of us that sat together and usually someone would have done the homework and the rest of us copied. If nobody did it we just scribbled down the problems on a piece of paper. Teacher only checked if you had it. she was usually only 10 feet away when we were copying each other. After we got homework copied we either fell asleep, talked or sat back there reading magazines we brought in(Yes reading not looking and drooling over). Somehow we all got B's in the class despite doing absolutly nothing so I don't think the teacher was even trying

I'd like to say that I was a pretty honest kid, at least as far as schoolwork went. But in high school, my Advanced Placement classes - the math ones in particular - were nothing but a steaming cauldron of cheaters. We passed along the solutions for our calculus and statistics problems all the time. Surprisingly, most of the class passed the AP exams, myself included.

In one of my philosophy classes, the teacher is ditsy enough to leave people's essays open in Word in full view on the projector. I'll jot down the key points I can see and write them up in my own words another time.

Also I did a few friends' maths homeworks numerous times last year in exchange for food.

Senior year in Physics class I copied pretty much every assignment from one of my friends. They weren't assignments we'd turn in, but at the end of each semester we'd have a "test" that asked for answers from homework assignments. That was definitely Senioritis kicking in.

Now in college I'm not in any classes with any of my high school friends, and my roommate's a completely different major. Needless to say I do my own work, except in group projects and such.
