PAL or NTSC?

I'm closer and closer to my X360 =) And closer I am I start to think about PAL and NTSC games. On PS2 there was big difference on 50/60Hz display and some bugs fixed and special added. So I decided to ask you people how are those things on X360? Especially in Gears of War, Lost Planet, Viva Pinata and other top ten games on white M$ box? Graphic difference? Special modes? etc.

Thanks in advance =)

Jam it back in, in the dark.

As fas as I'm aware, there's not much difference these days, particularly if you're running in a high-def mode. Even on the original Xbox, the PAL-50 mode gave you NTSC frame rates and the additional resolution makes PAL games (In my opinion) look better anyway (Assuming they're properly converted, not letter-boxed).

I'd have thought that if you're living in Europe it'd make more sense to get a PAL one, if only to make it easier to get hold of games but then, if you don't mind the import costs, owning an American 360 will give you access to some titles that won't come out over here. We do tend to get multi-region releases a few days earlier though, if that makes a difference to you.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I'll be using my VGA LG to play on X360 I think. I got old TV and no cash to get HD for now. As for PAL and NTSC some games don't allow to play on 50Hz like Gears of War but are Region Free. I don't know if I'll gona get US one or PAL one... Importing games is not a problem besides more and more games are region free... Thanks Shin!

How ya doing, buddy?
