Ok - kind of late, but... HOLY FUCK DID YOU SEE THAT GAME!?
Obviously I'm talking about Canada/USA this morning (EST). I was about two seconds away from a heart attack when the penalty ended in OT - I was jumping around yelling with the crowd, praying for price to work his magic and save our boys in red and white. And what a fucking shootout! I'm not a really big fan of them, but holy moley, I think I took like three breaths the whole thing... Ok, maybe that's a lie, because I was yelling when Canada scored/Price saved, and cursing when USA scored. WOW! AND NOW WE'RE GOING FOR GOLD! FUCK YEAH!  GO TEAM CANADA!!! We did it before, and we'll do it again!  KEEP THE SPIRIT ALIVE BOYS! Jam it back in, in the dark.

Frickin amazing. I didn't get the whole effect though, because I saw it one replay
 . But strange enough, even though I knew what the outcome would be, my heart was still beating, and it was incredible to watch. The juniors this year are something else. Looking forward to the game tomorow versus Russia!Go Canada Go! I was speaking idiomatically.  |
