A few weeks ago there was a short blurb on Sass's local news (I think it was hers...) about
Fantasy Congress, a game which takes the concept of fantasy sports and puts a political spin on it. Involvement as of the prior Congress seems to be a little lax, but they seem to be working on new features, like "exclusive" drafting (where multiple players can't draft the same person), benches and trading. Any questions you may have might be answered in
the FAQ.
If you're interested in signing up (and up to 100 people can do so, apparently), do this:

The password: omgwtfbbq
Depending on what they do with drafting -- I can't draft my team yet, so I'm expecting the changes they've been working on will be implemented tomorrow, when the 110
th Congress goes into session -- I hope our league will have at least 10 people in it by the time I activate the league on Tuesday, January 23, 2007. I'm hoping they'll set up a draft date or something to that effect, because if they stick with "exclusive" drafting but if they let people draft before the league has a good amount of people in it, or if there's any situation where someone can have an advantage over someone else, it won't be much fun.
Jam it back in, in the dark.
