iPod Video Problem (Videos turn to audio files)
This has happened many times to me so far.
My videos will turn to audio files and then will be located in the music section of iTunes. So when I go to play them on my ipod, they are not under the video section. They still play in Itunes as movies, but not on the ipod. It sucks because I pretty much have to go through all my dvd's and rip and encode them. Has anyone had this happen to them, or know of any solution? Well I went through the folders on the Ipod. I think I'll just re-add them to my ipod. But I wonder why this happens. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Silly question.
Did you convert the videos in iTunes to the format used on the iPod? Say you are using iTunes 7. If you go to the movies list under library, and then you click on the video and then go to the advanced menu on the toolbar, you should see an option that says "convert selection to ipod". The video will have to be re-encoded to match the standard used on the iPod. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
I use videora to convert or clone dvd mobile. The movies work on my ipod, they have for a long time, but then they all of a sudden changed to audio files.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
