Cool Saw 3

I'm surprised the there is no Saw-Thread in here yet?!
However I put my little Review online in HERE and think it's a solid conclusion to the trilogy (with over the top gore).

Saw is a great series, havent seen the 3rd yet but looking forward to it. The second movie was great minus the ending meh, first movie is still one of the best horrer flicks I've seen.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Great review Elrasiel, I saw it in theatres yesterday, I thought it was good, however not quite as clever as the others, as they tried to twist it up too much. It was sick as hell, though, and my friend had to take a breather(while I ate his popcorn, lol)
Spoiler:
The pig corpse part was almost a bit much to handle, and the ribcage thing was vicious!

It was definitely worth seing!

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Spoiler:
Saying it's a great conclusion to the Saw franchise is a bit of a spoiler. I went to see a Saw marathon last thursday. And people were asking me if we can be sure there will be a Saw IV or not. Seeing that both John and Amanda die at the end, you can presume there won't be any Saw IV. If you tell people there won't be any Saw IV, they will then know it's the end. Which is sad.

@Jochie:

Spoiler:
A guy is attached by his neck in the bottom of a pigs dump, next to the pigs mixer. The pigs aren't fresh at all. You can see worms coming out from the pig as they fall in the mixer. Gross. Imagine yourself suffocating, trying to breathe under grinded pig corpses.

The scene that everybody in the room was terrified the most were

Spoiler:
when doctor Lynn had to remove an inch of John skull to release pressure on his brain. A power drill, them a chirurgical saw...

"Are you alright, John?"
"Never better"

This movie does look pretty good. The thing about the movies so far is that they get better with each one. And this one seems pretty gruesome, can't wait to see it!

I watched the first two movies on DVD Saturday, then that night I went out and saw the third movie. My opinion:

The first one is the best flick. The twist at the end is incredible, and it was the scariest one, in my opinion.

The second one isn't as scary because there's more people around, but the twist is actually better than the first.

The third... meh. It's a solid movie, but the twist at the end isn't QUITE as good as the other two. Make no mistake, though. It's still a fantastic movie. I just felt that a big part of what made the first movie good (i.e. the suspense and wondering WHO it is) was missing in a large part from the second, and completely gone from the third.

Still, these have gotten me hooked on horror flicks, definitely. <3

The Saw Trilogy ended up (to me) a success. According to some info from the movie (dont read unless you seen it) :

Spoiler:
Donnie Walhberg was actually in the movie and SURVIVED til Amanda killed him.
At least he told her that she wasn't shit XD.

I was impressed to see that all the killings and murders of each test subject were just to test Amanda. John "Jigsaw" Kramer was indeed a genius and ended up being right when he said that he despised murderers.

Taking Jeff to other test subjects and letting some of them die was a cool idea. It's just too bad that he got screwed over at the end by jigsaw and shot his own wife to death along with his daughter suffocating in that room. Damn that sucks lol

Still...

Spoiler:
a loose end about Dr. Lawrence Gordon..

I loved the movie..then again I love the entire saw series. I always get so into each movie with "what is going to happen here?" "why is this happening?" "is this person going to show up?"

Spoiler:
What made me mad during the movie was NO GOD DAMN DR GORDON! Where the fuck is that guy. It explained everyone death in detail, but when it came to this guy he was no where to be found. So I am hoping he will be the new 'jigsaw' like character as he is the only other person to survive Jigsaws game.

Also the guy from number 2 (forgot his name) he didn't die in the sewers did he? I think Jigsaw said something along the lines of "I took care of him" after Amanda left him..but Jigsaw doesn't kill people, so???

I thought way to much about the movie

lol I didn't even know that Saw 3 was already out, are they going to have a new movie every year now??? I definitely gonna watch that, though I have to say that I found Saw 2 to be much weaker than the first one.

The first one was ok, but the second and third were tongue in cheek hilariously bad.

It surprised me how many people thought these movies had decent plot twists in them. Ill admit that they are well made as far as horror movies go, but they fail on every level outside of the violent traps.

I was one of the few people laughing in the theater during the violent scenes.

So much for "concluding the trilogy." Saw 4's already been announced.

I reviewed this in my journal.

I'm a huge fan of slasher movies and the Saw series are some of the best, gore-wise and it's refreshing that for horror films, they're pretty intelligent. I felt the third was weaker than the first two in terms of plot but I still enjoyed it.

Everyone who's a horror fan here should really see Creep though, best horror film I've seen in ages.

i'm guessing the woman (victim in no 1, disciple in no 2) will be the main evil character and the original guy is history

Spoiler:
did Amanda not DIE in the end of Saw III?
