Seems like there's no thread to this one yet. I posted a link to the trailer on my Blog but apparently it has been taken down because people where bashing it. Not really the best sign I think:eyebrow:

It's got Ving Rhames, that alone is enough for me to see the movie =]
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Didn't they just make a movie for Day of The Dead recently? I think I am confused here. Someone help!
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
It goes:
Night of the Living Dead -> Dawn of the Dead -> Day of the Dead -> Land of the Dead All are by Romero, and could are considered to be canon in the Dead series. There was a recent remake of Dawn of the Dead, which is considered to be non-canon. Even though there are parallel themes and homages paid to the original Day of the Dead, there are significant differences between Romero's vision and the remake. The Dawn of the Dead remake is getting its own sequel: Dawn of the Dead 2. I guess it remains to be seen how faithful to the original Day of the Dead (remake) will be. I haven't seen a whole lot of information on it. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

Oh! Ok, I got you know. Wouldn't you think the majority of people would get confused with all these names and stuff?
I was speaking idiomatically. |
I don't see how a sequel to the Dawn remake would work, unless it had different people.
Spoiler:
What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? ![]() |
Wasn't there a different cast between Dawn and Day of the originals? Are the same people involved with Dawn remake involved with this? I enjoyed the remake of Dawn and would like to see fast zombies for Day of the Dead. FELIPE NO |
Does anyone know if Diary of the Dead or whatever the name of George A. Romeos new movie is, is set after Land of the Dead?
What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? ![]() |
apparently ving rames has been cast as Capt. Rhodes
Jam it back in, in the dark. ![]() You know what? you just might be full enough of shit to apply for congress |
Diary of the Dead is set the same night as Night of the Living Dead. Its about amateur film students who wander right into the beginning of the Dead.
The crew that did Dawn of the Dead (2004) are not doing the remake for Day of the Dead. Steve Miner (of Friday the 13th: Part Two) is set to direct Day of the Dead (2007), while Jeffery Reddick (Final Destination) is writing the script. Dawn of the Dead 2 will purportedly pick up where Dawn of the Dead (2004) left off, following Anna, Kenneth, Nicole, and Terry. Yes, at the very end of Dawn of the Dead (2004), it was suggested that these four were killed by the zombies on the island. However, none of their deaths were explicitly shown, so their survival for a sequel--while improbable--is not impossible. There's nowhere I can't reach.
