Live365

Just curious if any of you guys use Live365. I used to use it years ago... now I'm on it again. You have to pay for some of the stations, but its pretty cheap ($6 a month or less, depending on what plan you pick, gets all the stations with no commercials.) I like the fact that they are all user-broadcasted... I guess because it seems like they take the time to pick the songs they play rather than being paid to play them... So, if you are on it, what is your favorite station? Better yet, does anyone here broadcast on there?

Jam it back in, in the dark.
Oh wait, you're serious. Let me laugh even harder.

I used to run a vgm station on there over 2 years ago. It was called "The VG Experience." It was fun while it lasted, but paying $30/40 a month got to be a bit much, since I didn't get anything back from it, other than a few fans.

It would sure be fun to start another one, though. I know so much more good vgm now than I did then.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Latest music rips (updated January 10, 2012):

SimCity DS - Jazz/ambient/electronic music including interesting reworkings of songs from the fantastic SimCity 3000 soundtrack
Cold Winter Original Game Music Score - Really cool; dark, full, emotional strings mixed with drums, piano, choir. Kind of like Furious Angels?

Play-Asia - Japanese CDs, game soundtracks, game imports, & more

well, if you decide to start one up again, let me know... do you still listen to it even though you aren't broadcasting anymore?

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

No, I haven't listened to any Live365 stations since then.

Ok... I guess I put this in the wrong section? I was debating it and thought this was a better place since Live365 is strictly audio... the media centre seemed more like a spot for movies/TV (at least from browsing the thread titles.) If I put this in the wrong spot, sorry... my mistake.

I was speaking idiomatically.
