Taking print screens of videos

Okay, so I'm pretty damn stupid when it comes to a simple thing like this. I can take print screens just fine, it's just that if I take a screen of a video that's playing (in DivX, VLC Player, etc.) and I paste it into Paint or Photoshop, the video itself doesn't show up, yet everything else does.

How can I get the video part to show when taking print screens?

Jam it back in, in the dark.

If you use VLC, there's the snapshot function under the Video menu. Just make sure you have a snapshot folder set in the preferences under Video.

That's the easiest, and least time-consuming way to.

If you use Media Player Classic, there's the same type of function under the File menu, but that requires a lot more playing around with filters and such.

If you're playing a file in Windows Media Player, you have to lower the Video acceleration to nothing under Options -> Performance and then take a screen shot.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Yeah, I use VLC most often now. Thanks for the tips. =p

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
