The time keeps skipping around in Winamp
I don't really know how to explain it well but I'll try my best.
I downloaded a few songs from the Metal Slug Database (The Metal Slug 6 Soundtrack) and whenever I play them in winamp, the time keeps changing around in the playlist. For example, when one of the songs is finished, it'll say for the time, 3:50. Then I click on it again, the time changes around to some random time like 5:04. It has never done this with any other MP3's that I have. I've even played these songs in Windows Media player and it displays the correct time for the songs. What's going on and is something to be worried about? BTW, I'm using an old version of Winamp, which is version 2.81. Jam it back in, in the dark. ![]()

If the MP3s are VBR that can sometimes mess up the readout for time remaining, but I've never heard of what you're describing in the playlist.
It's entirely possible that the old version has something to do with it. You might consider winamp 5. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Alright, it works now. Thanks.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. ![]()
