Deftones - Saturday Night Wrist

The new album is set for release on October 31st, and the tenative track listing is below. As far as I know the only tracks on it to be heard right now are Beware Of The Water, and Hole In The Earth. Beware Of The Water, being at live shows, and the latter you can now download from their MySpace page, or DeftonesWorld.com.

01 - Hole In The Earth
02 - Fm
03 - Beware
04 - Cherry Waves
05 - Mein " (Feat. Serj Tankian )
06 - Interlude
07 - Tilde
08 - Rats
09 - Pink Cellphone " (Feat. Annie Hardy )
10 - Combat
11 - The Earth
12 - Comanche

I've got a lot of anticipation for this record. Am I alone?

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I'm pumped for this. I have Beware (The Water) and it's awesome. Chino's are in a completely different place imo with this release.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Is that a live recording of Beware, or has the studio version been made available and nobody told me?

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Wow, how have I not heard about this. The last thing I heard by the Deftones was Chinos side project Team Sleep CD.

Im really happy theyre making more music. I thought B-Sides and Rarities might be a goodbye for them.

Is this new CD a departure from there old stuff? Any more experimenting like Team Sleep that can be heard or has been mentioned?

White Pony is still a top album for me.

I just listened to the single "Hole in the Earth" for the first time, and I think im in love again.

It reminds me of White Pony era Deftones, which is a definate plus. His vocals were amazing on this track. I cant wait till Oct 31st. I might break out the Deftones Av/Sig combo just for the occasion.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Interview with Shaun Lopez, who helped produce SNW.

And some cover art.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Sounds like its gonna be a jam up album. The producer obviously put alot of effort into getting it just right.
