Creating an .ISO

Hello all. Just got a new computer with a decent HD and now I would like to make a movie or two into an ISO image so I can have it when I return it to my friends. Only problem is I realized that I have no freakn idea how I would go about doing this. Can someone share their wisdom?

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Sure, use Magic ISO. New > Create ISO, add things, and save. Simple.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Assuming you're talking about a DVD you can rip it using DVD Decryptor, and convert it to DivX using Gordian Knot. You can get both from www.doom9.org and a lot of other stuff too. Using DVD Decryptor, you can either rip DVD movies as VOB/IFO files for use with Gordian Knot, or just as an ISO image.

I download that and it does work but only for files under 300mb and the one I was trying to convert is just over 600. Any other way?

Try going to Tools > Make ISO from CD/DVD rom. That should do it.

I was speaking idiomatically.

I second DVD Decrypter. It has a plethora of other useful functions too for movie backups.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?
