Anti-Virus recommendation

So... I've been getting these threatening popups from AVG saying that i'm using an illegal copy... So i've decided to uninstall it, and change to something else.

Does anybody have any suggestions?

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Why would you be using a pirated copy of AVG, when there's a free version?

There's nowhere I can't reach.

NOD32 is stellar, and ridiculously cheap for it's awesome feature set.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

NOD32 hands down. And this coming from a former AVG-thumper.

I was speaking idiomatically.

ZoneAlarm Security Suite is what I use. Heard good things about NOD32 though.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

I don't have a problem with Zone Alarm but when it interferes with my DS games online then we have a problem. Sadly I would say the darn thing works too well as a firewall which is why the resolve is uninstalling ZoneAlarm. As far as antivirus software goes, I highly recommend NOD32. Isn't a memory hog as Trend Micro, Norton or the rest of the bunch by comparison and does an effective job of detecting viruses should any be found to begin with.

I have a problem with ZoneAlarm. It takes so goddamn long to load. My buddy pointed that out to me and had me switch to Sygate. Best idea ever.

How ya doing, buddy?

Although I use toptenreviews.com for a general lists of programs for a category, I'd have to disagree with their listings for the best Antivirus Program. NOD32 is the best I think, and the Fastest I have ever used. Been using it for a year now and so far I havent had a virus problem...

Avoid

1. PC-Cillin - Doesnt detect all squat
3. McAffee - DeBrands your PC because of their fugly Boot up logo WTF.
2. Norton Antivirus - Worst in my book. It slowed my pc and uninstallations leaves a slew of registry entries

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I've been using NOD32 for a week now. Definitely made me switch for good. Goodbye AVG; it's been fun. =)

Kaspersky is really good but you may need a beefy system to handle it.
