Sam & Max Season 2 Liner Notes From Jared Emerson-Johnson
Similar in format to the Hitoshi Sakimoto liner notes feature we did for Valkyria Chronicles, we've had composer Jared Emerson-Johnson supply us with his thoughts on some of his and our favorite tracks from the latest Sam & Max Season 2 score.
Season 2 not only features the great traditional jazz style from the first season, but also works in different kinds of material, including ambient, techno, and mariachi. Definitely a great score, and you can currently pick up Season 1 and 2 together for $29.99 on the Telltale website. Here's the article: Sam & Max Season 2 Review and Exclusive Liner Notes From Jared Emerson-Johnson Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Excellent! Keep 'em coming.
Does Emerson-Johnson do all of Telltale's scoring? I notice that he did Bone as well (another very enjoyable bit of music, that). There's nowhere I can't reach. |
He actually works for an external audio team that Telltale contracts work out to. He also is doing the upcoming Wallace & Grommit (spelling?), and does work on the Strongbad game.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
