Question R-Type 1 Arcade Soundtrack

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone have the complete soundtrack of R-Type 1?

I need it for my background music for my live presentation of my artworks for Hopelab, for Re-Mission 2.

Thank You,

Bobby.

As far as official releases go, I know that only R-Type II and X-Multiply received official soundtracks. I haven't come across any gamerips myself, but I felt it would be good that you know that a gamerip is what you're probably going to get.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Ok, thanks --- My thoughts for the solution to my problem is,

1. I have R-Types for ps one. How do I rip the soundtrack if it doesn't play any of the music?

2. How do you do the sound test for MAME for R-Type?

Thanks,
Bobby ^^

Additional Spam:
Uhh.. never mind, I got the answer.. I am VERY happy now!!!!

Here are some of the original soundtracks from the first R-Type! Yippee!!

Bobby ^^

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

The R-Type (Arcade ver) music is included on the album: "IREM Game Music" from 1988.

28XA-199: R-Type IREM Game Music - VGMdb beta

It's a long 13 minute track, so you'd need to edit which specific song(s) you want to use from it.

TRACK 1: Title - Coin - Battle Theme (1st Stage) - Boss Theme - Return In Triumph (Stage Clear), (2) Monster Beat (2nd Stage) - Battle Pressure (3rd Stage) - The End Of A War (Game Over), (3) Continue - Butsu Butsu... (4th Stage) - Dokutsu ni Hisomu Monster (5th Stage) - Scramble Crossroad (6th Stage), (4) Yume no Shima (Ogorerumono wa Hisasikarazu) (7th Stage) - Botai (8th Stage) - Like A Hero (All Stage Clear) - Scoring.

I have recorded the complete R-Type soundtrack directly from the arcade PCB, and by "complete" i mean all tunes from the soundtest
No tracknames only the number they have in the soundtest.

R-Type Complete arcade OSV.zip (they are in OGG format).

I was speaking idiomatically.

Hey thanks for the .zip

Thanks for sharing the .zip file. I went to the IREM site and recorded it with an mp3 recorder, but it sounded kind of fuzzy. I could tell the difference since it seemed muffled. Thanks again ^^

Thanks,
Bobby ^^

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?
