New Smashing Pumpkins Album: Zeitgeist
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...1&pf_rd_i=5174
New SP album out July 10th. I can't believe I haven't heard about this until now. Tracks: 1. Doomsday Clock 2. 7 Shades of Black 3. Bleeding the Orchid 4. That¹s the Way (my Love is) 5. Tarantula 6. Starz 7. United States 8. Neverlost 9. Bring the Light 10. (Come on) Let¹s Go! 11. For God and Country 12. Pomp and Circumstances I think it will be interesting to see if there is a hint of political discourse on this album with tracks 7 and 11. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Tarantula is available to download on iTunes. You'll have to pay for it, unfortunately, because it's DRM'd. Although there might have been people to make high-quality rerecordings of it, but if you like the Pumpkins, then 99cents isn't all that much to foot.
It's a great track, by the way. Can't wait to hear the rest of the album. How ya doing, buddy?

Ya, I enjoyed the single. I listened to it by streaming the video on YouTube. Pretty good stuff.
Most amazing jew boots |
I found the single to be quite mediocre to be honest.
I mean, up there in terms of mediocrity compared to that lame ZWAN thing he did. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
iTunes is taking presales, for 11.99 US, which give you an early download of Doomsday Clock, as well as early purchase of tickets to the upcoming Pumpkins tour.
And a blue album cover (which would be cool if it wasn't only digital). Doomsday Clock is pretty cool, but I think Tarantula is the stronger of the two singles. I was speaking idiomatically.

We do all remember how heinously overrated Corgan is as an artist, right? Did you read his poetry? Did you hear ZWAN? The guy is fucking horrible.
What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? John Mayer just asked me, personally, through an assistant, to sing backup on his new CD. |
Who are we kidding? The album leaked a month ago and it's fucking awful. They used to be good, now they aren't. Not really surprising.
FELIPE NO |
"Doomsday Clock"?
"Tarantula"? "Bleeding the Orchid"? "7 Shades of Black" Could those four tracks scream "whiny emo cunt" any louder? What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |

Crash, he's always had pretty emo song titles when he actually tried to make up titles for his songs. "Bullet with Butterfly Wings." "An Ode to No One." "Take Me Down."
I preferred the old stuff where he just took a random word and used it for song titles. "Mayonaise." "Rhinoceros." "Siva." "Soma." They're all some of the better songs the Pumpkins ever released, too.
There's nowhere I can't reach.
