Nacho Libre
New film by the director of Napoleon Dynamite, the writer of School of Rock, and that guy from The Cable Guy.
The humor seems to be the same dry dialogue- and dry slapstick-based kind found in ND. I for one didn't find ND too bad but the people who constantly quoted it was what was annoying. I can imagine this being quoted to death too, but I bet it'll be funny before it gets the humor wrung out of it by trendy posers. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
I thought it was "Macho Libre", not "Nacho Libre". Looks alright.

It's Nacho Libre.
I never found Jack Black to be particularly funny, though. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
I think the movie looks ridiculous and stupid. I hated Nepoleon Dynamite, one of the worst movies I had ever seen because it's not my type of humor and it just wasn't good at all in any aspect.
I do like Jack Black and most of the movies he has been in, so I might check this movie out, but I am not expecting anything out of it, I have a feeling it will be horrible. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
It looks like one of those hit-and-miss movies where it's overall dumb and a waste of money, but has plenty of priceless jokes during the process. It's had the shit advertised out of it on Xbox Live.
I was speaking idiomatically. |
