Now I've had this album since 2000 and it is still quite a great album to listen to. This was the first Sonic game/album to feature a band called Crush 40, who would go on to do more themes for future Sonic games.

As you can see, this offers a little variety of almost everything. Also, this soundtrack includes every non-vocal track from the game except for one and that's the NiGHTS Pinball Table theme. Aside from that, this is still a very amazing album that any Sonic fan would be proud to own and listen to. 7 years have gone by since I first heard this music and I still enjoy it to this very day. Some memorable favorites are Station Square, Azure Blue World, Twinkle Cart, Choose Your Buddy!, The Air, Be Cool Be Wild and Be Groovy, Tricky Maze, Tornado Scramble, Egg Carrier, Theme of E-102gamma, Boss: Chaos ver. 6, and of course...Open Your Heart.

Rating: 10/10.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Of all the 3D Sonic games, this one has the greatest number of hit-or-miss tracks. BUT...The hits are absolutely amazing and timeless melodies. Tracks like "Fight for My Own Way", "Welcome to Station Square", "The Air", "Azure Blue World", "Theme of Dr. Eggman" and the "Choose Your Buddy" series show off the amazing guitar melodies present on this, countered by stuff like the catchy and upbeat "Twinkle Circuit" and the blistering WTF-ness of "Red Hot Skull". I really think the material on here stands the test of time more than anything Senoue's done to date. The only things I was never keen on were the event themes and Crush 40 has generally gone on to more and better songs...I never did like Open Your Heart. The vocals for SA2 and Heroes were way better (not to mention "It Doesn't Matter", a kickass vocal adaptation of Twinkle Circuit).

I give **** for the amazing material on this one. For a straight-up action game score, it's hard to find many that top this classic.

I had mine since 04 I hadn't listened to it in awhile . But the music is still great to me as well Tracks like Big Fishes at Emerald Coast , "Crank The Heat Up For Final Egg" Dawn At Speed Highway etc

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

It's a shame that it doesn't feature the "NiGHTS Pinball Table theme" track. It's one of my favorite tracks from the entire Sonic Adventure series... V_V

I think its because it was actually a track from the Nights Into Dreams OST!

I was speaking idiomatically.
