frequent random pauses in fullscreen games...
 

I never had this problem until I tried to play battlenet, the server said it d/led some data files for updates, which I didn't really pay attention... then the next time I started any game in full screen, it froze every 10 seconds or so (musics stopped playing, screen stayed still, mouse couldn't move), the program was running, but it couldn't run smoothly anymore.

I thought this might be a problem with Warcraft itself, so I uninstalled it, the problem persists... I then uninstalled recent applications I had, still no go. I updated my graphic drivers (ATI9800 pro), and that was useless, too...

I'm now out of solutions, and this problem drives me nuts, any help is appreciated, thanks!
