Sig image restrictions
I need a moderator to help me with this question.
I've fixed the image for my sig, so that the filesize dips under the maximum 50kb. It's 49kb now. The image right now stands 750 pixels wide and 150 pixels high. I know that this would technically violate the maximum dimension of 550 pixels wide. But if I made it scroll (marquee), would it be allowed? (Since it would NOT stretch anybody's page or distort anybody's GFF viewing experience) This is how it is, right now: Please let me know if I'd be allowed to use this. |
I say it's fine if it's in a marquee, since it won't stretch the tables. However, people with Firefox (e.g. me), won't even see your signature unless the browser has been refreshed once. Just so you know. Don't know why FF has that bug, but it's there.

Thanks Kaleb.G -- I've implemented it now, with a little note underneath so the other mods won't hurt me.

I've refreshed the page 3 times now and it still doesn't appear in Firefox for me, but as soon as I tried IE it was already there. I don't understand this weird bug etiher, any suggestions?

Marquee coding + image, it seems. For me, at least -- I can see the text without having to refresh.

I can see it, although it moves way too slow imo. It's a nice sig though.

Hmm, it shows up now. Weird. I guess it just happens randomly sometimes. The marquee looks the same speed in Firefox and IE though.

Hehe, I don't have Firefox. I had to ask :p |
I think the marquee tag in signatures is fucking annoying and should not be allowed.
