THIS CAT IS NOT NORMAL

Could be tabasco on the tongue, or could be madness, dunno...

Spatula Jul 29, 2006 08:43 PM

What the hell exactly was it fed.

::licks paws::

Tabasco sauce, I really wonder. If that were the case, I'd imagine the darn thing trying to scratch it's own tongue.

Cobra Jul 29, 2006 09:02 PM

But I think it actually tries to scratch his own tongue. 0_o

Remind me some sort of exorcist remake, cat version.

Spatula Jul 29, 2006 09:16 PM

You know, now I'm really curious how a cat would react to hot peppers. Seriously.

UltimaIchijouji Jul 29, 2006 09:47 PM

Needs more :maggotcat:

Eleo Jul 30, 2006 01:18 AM

:tpg:

Also I'm not sure how I am to watch the video. Is it still up?

Crash "Long-Winded Wrong Answer" Landon Jul 30, 2006 01:51 AM

I don't know that a cat would even eat Tabasco sauce. They have keen olfactory senses and Tabasco emits a very potent scent. I'm pretty sure most cats would be put off by the eye-watering smell.

But maybe this cat wasn't so wise. I feel bad for it. The audience was laughing and the poor cat was obviously in pain. Whoever filmed that is rather cruel.

Spyer Jul 30, 2006 02:13 AM

Where in the video did it even show the cat getting fed anything?!

Maybe they stuck a needle of tabasco sauce where the camera wasn't facing.:edgartpg:

I was going to ask the same thing :tpg:

Anyways wtf. It looks more like they stuck a fucking tazer into the thing after they zoom in onto its face.

Hello_Kitty Jul 30, 2006 10:11 AM

we can see something touching his back (bottom left of the video)

maybe they are just scratching his back, one of my cats used to do some pretty strange things when i scratched his back near the tail

but not a strange as this cat ... if they not doing anything nasty to the cat, that's quite funny ^^ ... and scary

Jochie Jul 30, 2006 10:47 AM

The noise the cat makes is pretty weird, but the rest is standard cat activity. I've had several cats that have licked the air like that when they were scratched near their tail. I figure something triggers in their brain to make them think their nursing off their mothers teats.

TEATS.

Outlaw Jul 30, 2006 02:10 PM

I agree with Hello_Kitty, someone is scratching the cat's back. Cats do strange things when you scratch their back in a certan place. I think it has something to do with thier sent gland. But all my cat did when you scratched his back was just start licking the air...that cat however...is kind of creepy. I mean that sound is not normal for a non-rabid cat to make.

PiccoloNamek Jul 31, 2006 11:09 PM

:tpg: The reminds me of the cat that would say "I love you I love you I love you" whenever its back was scratched.

Dhsu Aug 2, 2006 05:39 PM

Oh man, this video just gets better every time. My favorite part is at the end when they stop scratching its back, and the cat is like "WHAT HAPPEN."

Chibi Neko Aug 2, 2006 06:22 PM

The owner is actually scratching the cat's back, they scratched a spot that the cat loved so much that he went nuts. I know some cats that do the same thing.

Cirno Aug 2, 2006 07:51 PM

Nothing can make this video funny. Not even Doom music.

When we pull out the cat treats, one of my cats makes a similar noise, only... it doesn't 'flick' it tongue. It just meows, but it sounds like he's laughing.

...It looks like this cat is looking at something, maybe a cat treat or something? Or catnip. That's my second guess. XD

Dinner Aug 5, 2006 12:33 AM

If you look closely....you can see someone scratching the back of the cat....some cats go nuts (like this one) and others react different ways. My one friend has a cat the will lick itself uncontrollably when scratching it on the back. Has to do with nerves and such.
