Recommendations for a fanless graphics card

My 128MB Winfast A6200TD runs like a jet engine, and I'm looking for a replacement. I need something that fits in an AGP slot and has passive cooling -- nVidia or ATI doesn't matter. I don't need anything too powerful either, as long as it's reasonably priced and at least better than the 6200. Oh, and DVI, too. Anyone can recommend something?

6200s do come in a fanless flavor.

Better than that is a little hard to come by without a fan. You could always get a 6600 / X1600 (or better) and purchase an aftermarket heatsink.

Edit: 7600GS comes fanless and AGP, but is rare.

Best buys for fanless/HTPC video card hardware on the planet. A 7600GS is there and many more. Take your pick, and mention it here along with what you intend to do with the card (TV hook up, PC gaming, only desktop use).

EDIT: Oh suck you need AGP.... Found some obscure buys (Radeon 9550) (Radeon 9600 AIW) (this one I'm linking for LOL factor).

I ended up sniping an eBay auction for a Gigabyte 6800.

Looks pretty good, though I'm worried I'm going to burn the card due to the current lack of fans in my case. Guess I'll look into that next.

nice find. i was going to link you to this but that gigabyte 6800 is a lot better.

You'll definitely need some fans going in the case. I have a Geforce 4 that would heat things up quite nicely if it weren't for the case fans. Can't imagine how hot that powerhouse 6800 will get. :/

I have a:
BFG 6800GT OC

That card, though it has a dual active cooling solution, still idles at around 65, even with active cooling on the case. You're definitely wanting to get at least a side intake and exaust active cooling on your case.
