Password get
 

I have a problem.
I have a computer which has Microsoft Server 2003 installed on it. However, I have not used it for a long while, until very recently. This can be a problem for someone such as myself, who has a tendency to forget things like passwords after extended periods of non-use.

So, I need to get the Administrator password. Does anyone know if it might be possible for me to take out the hard drive, plug it into my other computer, and find that password; or have any software which can do that for me?

Also, I remember the password to the standard user account, with higher-level user capabilities(Super User?), but no administrative capabilities, if that can be of any assistance.

I do NOT want to reinstall the OS either. There are too many programs and information on there which will be a pain to get again.

Ah, thanks a lot.

Even though the website would only give me the second letter of the password and the number of characters, I managed to remember it.


On a related note, does anyone know anything about Microsoft XP's password encryption system, or at least how I can find out more about it?
