Turning Off the 360: Manual or Controller?

How do you usually turn off your 360? By using the controller or by pressing the power button?

I use the controller most often.

I don't know much discussion is even possible in this thread goodsir. However, obviously I choose to turn it off using the controller since it is most convenient. I can play in my bed and turn it off without getting up. It is the lazy american way, am I right?

I hit the power brick with a sledgehammer.

This is mostly a poll thread. I know a lot of people who don't bother with the controller because holding down the guide button takes too long.

The American Way is both laziness AND impatience. And this is how conflict comes about.

Usually threads that are "mostly a poll thread" at least have interesting polls.

I still use the power button, since I'm stuck in the ancient days and never remember that you can use the controller.

Double Post:
Plus, why did you use "manually" to describe hitting the power button. If pushing the power button is "manual" then so is pushing the controller button.

I'm exactly the same, I always forget.

Controller, of course!

That feature rocks.

I dont have to turn mine off. It automatically does it in the middle of games and chatting. I guess my 360 knows when too much is too much. Its so smart.
